The Royal Institute of Public Health (RIPH) is an awarding body recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and offers both QCA-accredited and “off-framework” qualifications. It provides a portfolio of qualifications that are directly relevant to the workplace. These include:

  • Food Hygiene and Safety (including HACCP)
  • Health and Safety in the Workplace
  • Decontamination
  • Nutrition
  • Salon Hygiene
  • Health Information
  • Mortuary Hygiene

The RIPH Food Hygiene and Safety (and HACCP) qualifications enable food businesses to comply with all current UK and European legislation on food hygiene and safety.

RIPH qualifications are a recognised benchmark of quality and are recognised by employers internationally.

We work with industry and trainers to develop new qualifications as training needs are identified. Qualifications currently under development include:

  • Management of Substance Abuse

All our examinations are administered by RIPH Registered Centres. These include Further Education Colleges, training consultancies, food research bodies and major national and international companies.
